Every time I talk with American friends, I say that here is like a movie, and the school wasn't the exception. From the yellow school bus to the classrooms, every detail is like I saw many times in movies and, at the same time, to much diferent to the schools in my country.
Like the University here, the school was so clean and ordered, the kids didn't scream all the time, and they make a perfectly straight line to enter each class.
In addition, other big diference is that here the classrooms has everything that the kids need to learn well. Every class is comfortable, looks pretty, and has all the elements needed. I was impressed to, about the computer lab, the gym and the music room because were very complete.
The similarities that I found, were the ways of have fun in the free time, and the happines in the learn time. And, like in every school in the world, when some strange people come to visit, the kids open his eyes so big and talk each other about this strange people.
Summarizing, it was a great experience to see how are the schools here, and the feeling after that, is I would be glad to go again and learn more about this kids and the school.
I can see that you´re a very good observer. You remember those nice details like the perfect line and the lack of noise.

yes!!! it´s true that the schools are like the ones we have seen all our lifes in the movies. The thing that cause more impression what the yellow bus :)! If I were a seven years old american girl I would love to go school in one of them...
ReplyDeleteI agree that the school seems to be a funny place.In most of Japanese schools,the classrooms and the passages don't look like such a exiting place.
ReplyDeleteIt was really great experience for me, too. I could felt there are some big differences and similarities comparing with Japanese school. I'm really looking forward to visiting there again.
